LHH is partnering with a client on a search for a Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will have GAAP and strong business process experience, industry experience, forecasting/AOP experience, and previous experience managing a team.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with company leadership to set financial goals and strategies.
Analyze costs, operations, and forecast data to track progress toward financial targets.
Manage the accounting department, including A/P, A/R, inventory, month-end closing, and general ledger.
Lead financial planning and budgeting processes for revenue, expenses, cash flow, and capital.
Present financial analysis to leadership for informed decision-making.
Mentor and manage the finance and accounting team to enhance performance.
Oversee hiring, training, performance reviews, and addressing employee concerns.
Implement and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Manage financial systems and coordinate audits.
Collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting required; Master’s preferred.
8-10 years of finance experience, including leadership and FP&A roles.
Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
Ability to lead and develop a finance team.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficient in Excel and other financial tools.
This role involves travel
Pay Details: $170,000.00 to $215,000.00 per year
