Location: Wilsonville, OR
Job Details: Fully Onsite, Direct Hire, Full time
Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 a year
We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our client in Wilsonville, OR. As an ideal candidate, you should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance
- Perform and review complex account reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls
Qualifications:
- At least 2+ years of experience with general ledger accounting responsibilities. (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related (Preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
