We are a growing network of dental practices seeking a dedicated and experienced Temporary Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to support our team during a period of rapid growth. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in AP processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of transactions efficiently.
Salary: $30-$45/hr. DOE
Job Title: Temporary Accounts Payable (AP) Manager
Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite, 5 days a week)
Job Type: Temporary assignment 1-3 months and can start as soon as Monday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the centralized AP inbox, ensuring timely processing and categorization of all incoming invoices and communications.
- Enter and process invoices in QuickBooks and Bill.com, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.
- Lead and mentor the AP team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency.
- Oversee the full cycle of utilities, rent, and credit card expenses, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Prepare and present regular reports on AP activities, including metrics on invoice processing times and payment accuracy.
- Ensure all AP activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in dental practices is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Bill.com, strong organizational and leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
