LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in West Chicago, IL. Candidates must have at least one year of general accounting experience. Experience with Oracle is highly preferred. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining general ledger accounts, and supporting budgeting and compliance efforts.

Role: Staff Accountant

Salary: $60k–$65k

Worksite Type: 100% Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly consolidated balance sheets and income statements

• Complete monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts

• Analyze and record key general ledger accounts

• Perform financial statement reviews by monitoring revenue and expenses

• Gather and analyze financial data to ensure compliance with SEC and GAAP regulations

• Support budget maintenance and explain variances

• Prepare weekly and monthly analysis reports for the Controller

• Manage daily cash deposits

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum one year of experience as a Staff Accountant

• Strong understanding of SEC and GAAP reporting regulations

• Experience with Oracle accounting software

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
