Location: Tukwila, WA | Onsite
Our client located in Tukwila, WA is adding a Payroll Accountant as a newly created role to support expansion and reduce workload on the finance team. This role is contract for 3 Months and fully onsite. This role does not offer conversion for a permanent hire and is only targeting candidates open to contract work.
What You’ll Do
- Own prevailing wage payroll (calculations, filings, and submissions)
- Handle construction project billing
- Support AP/AR alongside bookkeepers
- Work in QuickBooks and partner closely with finance leadership
- Construction industry experience (required)
- Hands-on prevailing wage ownership experience
- Experience with construction billing
- 3–7 years of accounting/payroll experience
- Accounting degree preferred
- Strong accounting fundamentals
- Fully onsite in Tukwila
- Small, collaborative team (45-65 employees)
- High-impact role with visibility and ownership
Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
