We are seeking a Supply Chain Operations Specialist near Troy, MI to serve as the primary connection between an organization and key industry partners, ensuring seamless coordination of shipments, pricing updates, and client communications. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong ability to interpret data, provide exceptional service, and oversee essential administrative tasks related to supply chain operations.
Key Areas of Focus:
Data & Logistics Analysis
Monitor and assess internal order tracking, inventory levels, and shipping schedules.
Generate reports and insights on supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accuracy in all logistics-related data to support operational efficiency.
Client Relations & Communication
Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates on shipment timelines, pricing adjustments, and other critical logistics details.
Address inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Build strong relationships with external partners and internal teams to support smooth supply chain operations.
Administrative Coordination
Manage and maintain import/export documentation to comply with regulations.
Review existing client contracts to ensure compliance with policies and pricing structures.
Interpret sales agreements and product specifications to align logistics with business requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
5+ previous experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or customer service—preferably in a manufacturing or automotive-related industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and spot trends.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
