We are seeking applicants for an Accounts Payable Coordinator role with an excellent company outside of High Point. This role is responsible for making sure invoices are processed quickly and correctly through the accounting systems. An ideal candidate will have excellent customer service (when interacting with vendors), have a strong attention to detail when fixing mismatched purchase orders, and have strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle invoices that match purchase orders or are for general expenses.
Respond to questions about invoices and payments from both coworkers and vendors.
Review vendor statements and fix any issues you find.
Make sure any problems with third-party services are logged properly.
Prepare forms for voiding or stopping payments.
Follow up on unresolved issues and let your supervisor know if something needs extra attention.
Keep sensitive information private and secure.
Create and update instructions for how to use our systems.
Communicate clearly with people at all levels of the company.
Be ready to take on other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting (required).
2–5 years of experience in a similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration (preferred).
Solid understanding of how accounts payable works.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $56,000.00 per year
