LHH Recruitment Solutions has a contract to hire, onsite Human Resources Generalist position open with our client in Tampa.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly professional, trustworthy, and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support core HR operations in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strict confidentiality, strong judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with integrity. The ideal candidate brings strong HR Generalist experience, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to build positive relationships across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate interview scheduling and handle all steps related to onboarding and employee exits
- Develop onboarding materials and guide new hires through HR policies, procedures, and organizational expectations
- Assign, track, and follow up on all required pre-employment tasks
- Manage background screenings
- Enter and maintain accurate employee data in ADP and ensure records remain current
- Monitor professional licenses and certifications, maintaining updated logs
- Provide support to employees seeking information about employment status or training requirements
- Ensure all activities align with HIPAA, regulatory standards, and internal compliance guidelines
- Deliver daily HR support that involves judgment and decision-making beyond basic administrative work
- Work alongside HR leadership to address moderately complex HR matters, escalating sensitive issues appropriately
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HR department
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity
- Strong working knowledge of ADP and experience with HRIS data management required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Clear, professional communication skills—both written and verbal
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year
