LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring a Production Supervisor to join our client in Sycamore, IL. This full-time direct hire opportunity is fully onsite.

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing processes, directly supervising and coaching team members, ensuring safety compliance, preparing schedules and setting objectives, and resolving production issues. This role requires excellent planning and organizational skills and a lean manufacturing background.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee all manufacturing processes in manufacturing facility

· Coach and provide direct supervision for team members

· Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company standards, including bi-weekly safety walks and monthly safety meetings

· Schedule regular maintenance

· Assign responsibilities and prepare schedules

· Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives for team members

· Identify and suggest improvements

· Resolve production issues

· Establish comprehensive cross-training program

Qualifications:

· Associate’s degree or 3-5 years of related experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Excellent planning and organizational skills

· Lean manufacturing background required

· Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

· Experience working 2nd shift required

· Ability to learn new software

· Strong communication skills

· Supervisory experience in a union environment a plus
