Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Seattle, Washington
Salary: $70,000-$90,000
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm in Seattle to hire a Litigation Legal Assistant. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to a team of attorneys, ensuring deadlines are met and cases run smoothly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellent client service are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft, prepare, and proofread pleadings, correspondence, exhibits, and other litigation-related documents
  • Coordinate depositions, including scheduling witnesses and working with court reporters.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, manage deadlines, and assist with travel arrangements
  • Provide support in preparing attorneys for hearings, trials, and client meetings
  • Assist with billing processes, including time entry and review of client invoices
  • Open new matters, process conflict checks, and maintain case files
  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal departments
  • Coordinate with vendors and process related invoices
  • Submit reimbursement requests and expense reports through firm systems
  • Uphold strict confidentiality in handling sensitive client and case information

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation support experience with demonstrated knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures
  • Strong working knowledge of litigation processes, terminology, and case management protocols
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, document management systems, and electronic filing platforms
  • Ability to adapt to varying attorney work styles and anticipate needs
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize urgent tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor
