Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Seattle, Washington
Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in-office/2 remote after training period
Salary: $65,000-$92,000 DOE

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable law firm in downtown Seattle to find a Litigation Legal Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with strong litigation and appellate experience - including direct experience with Washington State court procedures - who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
  • Draft, edit, and format legal correspondence, pleadings, and other documents
  • Proofread and redline legal filings to ensure accuracy and compliance with court requirements
  • Prepare tables of contents and authorities, ensuring proper formatting and structure
  • Research and apply court rules across multiple jurisdictions
  • E-file legal documents in both state and federal courts
  • Manage court calendars, deadlines, hearings, and meetings
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic case files
  • Coordinate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel as needed
  • Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys across multiple practice areas

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting litigation in a law firm or legal department
  • Strong knowledge of court procedures and filing in Washington state and federal courts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and legal software/document management systems (experience with ProLaw or similar platforms is a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and support several attorneys simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
