Contract Attorney – Hybrid (Scottsdale, AZ)

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (4 days onsite / 1 day remote)

Contract Length: 6+ Months

Compensation: $80–$85 per hour

LHH is working with a national client in seeking a highly skilled Contract Attorney with strong transactional experience to support a wide range of corporate legal needs. This hybrid role requires 4 days per week onsite in Scottsdale, with 1 remote workday per week. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of experience at a nationally reputable law firm and/or in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Drafting, Review & Negotiation

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and revise a broad range of agreements, including vendor, customer, NDAs, SaaS, employment, and other commercial agreements.

  • Create and update contract templates and forms.

  • Manage the contract renewal process.

  • Conduct contract training for business leaders and support development of contracting processes and SOPs.

Corporate Legal Support

  • Provide general corporate legal support across the organization.

  • Support M&A activities in coordination with internal teams.

  • Maintain corporate governance for entities across all 50 U.S. states and Canada.

Disputes, Litigation & Insurance

  • Provide support for disputes and litigation matters.

  • Coordinate with outside counsel when necessary.

  • Serve as the key contact for insurance issues and renewals.

  • Manage General Liability (GL) claims and oversee adjusters and external claims counsel.

Requirements

  • Active Arizona Bar membership in good standing.

  • 4+ years of relevant transactional and corporate legal experience.

  • Strong background in contract drafting and commercial negotiation.

  • Experience with insurance, litigation coordination, or claims management is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
