Job Title: Accounting/Data Assistant
Location: Salem, OR
Hours: Fully Onsite, Full Time, Contract only starting ASAP - until October
Compensation: $25-$26 an hour

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting/Data Assistant to join our client in Salem, OR. As an ideal candidate, you should have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in accounting related roles.

• Maintain an up-to-date subledger by importing large data files daily, entering product pricing, and investigating errors when they occur.

• Work efficiently in a high-volume environment while meeting tight deadlines.

• Batch logs for payment processing.

• Perform repetitive but detail-oriented tasks.

• Use a user-friendly system with tools housed within the subledger to manage large datasets representing transactions.

Qualifications:

• Experience handling large data sets.

• Strong time management.

• Investigative mindset with a problem-solving approach.

• Understanding of volume × price = total value.

• Ability to work independently and learn via Teams (note-taking, recording training sessions, etc.).

• Stay on track with self-paced learning.

• Background in accounting, particularly AP or AR, especially in high-volume settings.
