Payroll Manager
Location: Sacramento, CA
Salary: Up to $85,000.00 per year
Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This is a direct hire or temp to hire position offering a competitive salary of up to $85,000.00 or hourly equivalent. LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with our client to fill this critical role with a local company.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the payroll process for 240 employees.
Maintain and reconcile various payroll ledgers.
Generate and review monthly payroll reports.
Validate payroll data to ensure accuracy.
Ensure expenses align with cost centers.
Handle payroll tax reconciliations and compliance.
Lead two staff members to greatness by sharing best practices, ensuring wage and hour laws are adhered to and loa’s and garnishments are handled with care.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in payroll management (3 years or more preferred).
Proficiency in using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
BA/BS in Accounting or Business strongly preferred.
Excel and UKG experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
