Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Portland, Oregon
Hours: Monday - Friday - 8-5pm
Compensation: 75-90k per year
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our property management team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financials across a diverse property portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Yardi software. In this role, you will:
Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned properties, including general ledger maintenance, accruals, and month-end close.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Conduct bank reconciliations, variance analysis, and account reconciliations.
Oversee A/P and A/R functions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper coding.
To be a fit, you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within property management.
Required: Hands-on Yardi accounting software experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP and property-level financial reporting.
