Job Description:


One of our amazing clients is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Portland, Oregon. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role requires a proactive approach to HR management and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.


  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs.


  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.


  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits enrollment and inquiries.


  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.


  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.


  • Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics, such as workplace safety, diversity and inclusion, and performance management.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR generalist or related roles.


  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.


  • Strong organizational and time management skills.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
