Job Title: Event Specialist
Location: Onsite – Portland, OR (with occasional local travel)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (flexibility required for evenings/weekends in order to attend events)
Pay Rate: $27 – $35 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role:
LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Specialist to join our client's team in Portland, Oregon. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with people, and is passionate about delivering exceptional event experiences. You will play a key role in managing event communications, gathering feedback, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring smooth event execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inbox Management: Monitor and respond to inquiries in the event email inbox with professionalism and timeliness.
- Survey Coordination: Develop, distribute, and analyze post-event surveys to gather attendee feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, leadership) to align event goals and logistics.
- Event Operations: Support the planning and execution of events, including setup, vendor coordination, and onsite logistics.
- Travel & Flexibility: Attend events across the Portland metro area as needed. Must be available for occasional evening and weekend events.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, or similar).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
Pay Details: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
