LLH Recruitment Solutions is seeking Bookkeepers starting as soon as possible, for one of our clients based in Phoenix, AZ Metropolitan area. Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, start times are flexible.

As a Bookkeeper you will play a critical role in maintaining financial records, ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. You will work closely with the finance team to manage financial data and provide valuable insights to inform decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accounts receivable and payable by accurately recording invoices, payments, and bills Ensure timely and accurate payment processing

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and categorized

  • Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure they align with our financial records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies

  • Track and categorize all company expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and providing periodic expense reports

  • Prepare and generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis to provide insights to management

  • Assist in gathering and organizing financial data to support tax filings and audits, working closely with external accountants as needed

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and budgeting processes

  • Maintain organized and accessible financial records for auditing purposes and reference

  • Vendor and Client Communication: Maintain professional communication with vendors and clients regarding financial matters, including invoicing and payments

  • Other Financial Support: Assist in financial projects, as needed, to support the finance team's objectives

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or staff accountant in a related financial role

  • Proficiency in accounting software (eg, QuickBooks, Online) and Microsoft Excel

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices
