Job Title: Cash Applications/ Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Employment Type: Contract (Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, Onsite)

Pay Rate: $26-$29 per hour

About the Opportunity:

LHH is partnering with a client in Phoenix, AZ, to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Cash Applications Specialist. This is a contract position requiring someone with strong experience in full-cycle accounts receivable, high-volume cash application processes, account reconciliation, and credit memo management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of payments accurately and efficiently.
• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment application, and collections.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and apply credit memos to customer accounts.
• Prepare and analyze aging reports to monitor outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate cash applications.
• Maintain precise records and follow company policies for all cash application and AR activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cash Applications Specialist or similar role.
• Proficiency in handling high-volume cash application processes.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and credit memo management.
• Familiarity with aging reports and collections processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
