Job Title: Account Executive
Location: Arizona (with occasional travel)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term client relationships, driving revenue growth, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be skilled in prospecting, account management, and strategic sales planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and qualify prospects to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth.
Expand existing accounts within defined target segments.
Collaborate with the VP of Sales to support quarterly sales initiatives and activities.
Convert leads and opportunities into closed business aligned with sales velocity and quota targets.
Develop customer acquisition and account penetration strategies to generate highly qualified leads.
Leverage regional success to expand into additional business units and markets.
Support global account strategies in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Create and deliver compelling presentations to communicate key messages and solutions.
Conduct discovery calls to align solutions with client needs and campaign goals.
Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities, leads, and opportunities in CRM systems.
Negotiate contracts to meet client needs while maximizing profitability.
Navigate client ecosystems to uncover new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of B2B direct marketing sales experience, preferably in mid-size or enterprise accounts.
Proven success in lead development, sales planning, and forecasting.
Experience in account management and vertical market sectors such as technology is a plus.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to generate leads through cold calling.
Deep understanding of sales processes, client pain points, and organizational structures.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in CRM and other sales technology platforms.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent communication via phone and in-person.
Occasional travel, including visits to correctional facilities.
Ability to walk short distances (up to a quarter mile) as needed.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Regular desk and computer work.
