Title: Payroll Administrator (Temporary to Hire)
Location: Pasadena
Compensation: $28.00-$35.00 Hourly
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator on a temporary hire basis to join our client’s team in Pasadena. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional support to staff regarding payroll inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for employees across multiple states.
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in HRIS systems.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for finance and management.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax withholdings.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on benefits, garnishments, and other payroll-related matters.
Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2 and other tax documentation.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Experience: 2+ years of payroll processing experience; multi-state payroll experience is a plus.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
