Position Purpose
The Talent Manager is responsible for leading the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the organization’s talent acquisition and performance management strategies. This position plays a critical role in identifying and acquiring top talent, fostering a high-performance culture, and aligning talent practices with overall business objectives. Serving as a strategic partner to business leaders, the Talent Manager brings expertise, innovation, and a data-informed approach to support organizational growth and workforce effectiveness.
Essential Job Functions
Talent Acquisition:
Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all salaried roles, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define role requirements, and build robust talent pipelines.
Develop and execute employer branding strategies to position the company as an employer of choice.
Identify and implement innovative sourcing methods, including digital campaigns, partnerships, and passive candidate engagement.
Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Performance Management & Development
Own and lead the performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year check-ins, annual reviews, and calibration processes.
Partner with leaders to drive a culture of accountability, coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.
Support the design and facilitation of development plans for high-potential employees and underperformers alike.
Create and maintain tools, resources, and training for managers to have impactful performance conversations.
Workforce Planning
Collaborate with HR leadership and business partners on workforce planning and talent forecasting efforts.
Support succession planning, internal mobility, and career pathing strategies across the organization.
Analyze trends in talent acquisition and performance data to inform organizational decisions.
Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts through inclusive hiring and advancement practices.
Project Management
Evaluate and improve TA and performance management systems, tools, and processes for scale and consistency.
Maintain strong vendor and technology relationships related to recruitment, assessments, and performance software.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and internal HR policies.
Contribute to other HR projects and initiatives as needed, including onboarding, engagement, and culture-building activities.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of broad HR experience including talent management and performance management.
Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions.
Comfort with HR systems, recruiting tools, and performance analytics
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Pay Details: $950,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
