LHH is supporting a well-regarded client in the non-profit space who is looking to fill an open Accounts Receivable Accountant role on a contract basis. There could be permanent potential for the right candidate. Some in-office work in Manhattan, NY is required.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the AR ledger

• Maintain gift processing database

• Perform cash applications

• Prepare and post journal entries

• Perform GL account analysis as needed

• Prepare month-end reconciliations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required

• 2+ years of relevant AR/Accounting experience

• Prior experience utilizing large ERP system preferred

• Strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups

• Excellent communication and attention to detail

Compensation: $27 - $35/hr, depending on experience.
