Medical Billing Supervisor

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Billing Supervisor for our healthcare client located in Melville. This position will be 100% onsite and a direct hire opportunity for our client.

This role will be overseeing a team of medical billers and will be focused on the backend of the revenue cycle - ensuring that follow up and AR is done properly and that revenue is received in a timely and efficient manner.

• Bachelor's Degree required

• Minimum 3 years supervisory/management experience over a revenue cycle team required

• Minimum 5 years medical billing/coding/AR experience

• Must be CPC Certified

• Must be proficient working within EMR Software Systems and Microsoft Office

Skills

• Proven ability to lead a team and develop individuals

• Strong knowledge of medical billing/coding best practices and all commercial and state insurances

• Must be CPC Certified

• Able to work well with a wide array of individuals from direct reports to C-Suite

• Can meet production metrics and budgeting goals as outlined by management
