LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Insurance Coverage/Worker's Comp Defense Attorney to join our confidential client's legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated legal professional to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance coverage and worker's compensation defense, with a proven track record of handling complex cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal representation and defense in insurance coverage and worker's compensation cases.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather and present evidence.
  • Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active state bar membership in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and worker's compensation defense.
  • Strong litigation skills with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.


Pay Details: $60.00 to $95.00 per hour
