Data Entry/Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our client’s team as a Data Entry/Customer Service Representative. This role combines front-line customer interaction with back-end data management, ensuring smooth communication and accurate record-keeping across all platforms. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located in Lombard, IL.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
Resolve customer complaints with empathy and efficiency
Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in all interactions
Document customer interactions and feedback for continuous improvement
Accurately input, update, and maintain customer and transaction data
Verify data for completeness and correctness
Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity
Generate reports and summaries as needed
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless data flow
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Proven experience in customer service and/or data entry
Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Familiarity with data privacy and security standards

100% onsite
Pay is $20-$23 an hour, depending on experience
