LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk for one of our clients located in Livermore, California. The position is 100% in-office! The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing customer accounts, and ensuring timely collections.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer invoices and statements accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Post and reconcile daily deposits to customer accounts.
  • Contact customers for outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and interactions.
  • Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports to management.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries.
  • Keep up-to-date with company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or collections
  • Experience with a medium to large ERP preferred software package
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work & Excel – Intermediate)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience: 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience (Accounts Receivable Specialist, Accounts Receivable Technician, Collections Specialist)
