LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our client in the Kansas City Metro. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of building functionality and maintenance, ensuring the safety and upkeep of the premises. This includes managing building repairs, coordinating maintenance schedules, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, all while optimizing operational efficiency and budget allocation. You will ensure continuity of production by preventing downtime caused by failures and maintaining the proper functioning of facilities and related infrastructure in accordance with Construction/Building Regulations, Codes, and Standards.

Salary Range: This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $115,000 to $130,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct periodic inspections of the technical condition and proper operation of strategic devices and building premises.

  • Plan, organize, and control all renovation, maintenance, repair, modernization, and cleaning works, both internally and with external companies.

  • Maintain constant cooperation with companies/persons performing activities on the premises to ensure technical efficiency of installations and devices.

  • Keep a register and analyze data regarding the consumption of electricity, gas, water, and sewage.

  • Supervise the proper operation of security systems, fire alarms, work time control, and access control systems.

  • Manage complex facilities-related projects, including new investments, subcontractor supervision, budgetary control, and obtaining necessary permits.

  • Ensure continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System for quality, environment, and OHS, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Apply project management methodologies to oversee projects, ensuring proper documentation is maintained for all project team members.

  • Establishing goals and organizing the work of team members, while ensuring they have the necessary resources to achieve these objectives.

  • Overseeing agreements related to occupational health and safety, fire protection, and environmental protection.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management highly preferred

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing multi-site manufacturing facilities

  • Knowledge of EHS standards

  • Current OSHA certifications

  • Extensive experience with all aspects of building maintenance, compliance, repairs and regulations

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to work seamlessly with stakeholders, vendors and subcontractors



Pay Details: $115,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
