LHH is seeking an HR Generalist for a contract to hire position with a manufacturing client located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement. In this role, you will lead HR initiatives, foster a positive work environment, and drive employee engagement. This is a contract-to-hire position ranged at $25/hour.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures

• Manage recruitment and onboarding processes

• Conduct employee training and development programs

• Oversee employee relations and conflict resolution

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

• Administer compensation and benefits programs

• Maintain HR records and documentation

• Support performance management and appraisal processes

• Coordinate employee engagement activities

• Provide HR support to management and staff

• Analyze HR metrics and generate reports

• Assist with HR strategy and planning

• Manage HR projects and initiatives

• Facilitate communication between employees and management

• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2+ years of HR experience is required

• Must have the ability to manage multiple HR functions simultaneously

• Must have experience with HRIS systems and data analysis

• Ideal candidates will have experience with employee relations and conflict resolution

• Ideal candidates will have the ability to develop and implement HR policies

• Ideal candidates will have experience with recruitment and onboarding

• Preferred candidates will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Preferred candidates will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
