We are seeking applicants for a contract Accounts Payable position with an excellent client in Greensboro. This role is responsible for processing payables for the organization and assisting with general accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities
Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries regarding payments.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end closing.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding items.
Collaborate with procurement and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
Associate???s degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
