LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Injury Paralegal to join our confidential client's dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a reputable firm and make a significant impact in the field of personal injury law.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant information to support personal injury cases.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files and evidence.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide case updates.
- Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Coordinate with medical providers to obtain and review medical records and bills.
- Prepare settlement demands and negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
- Maintain a detailed calendar of deadlines and court dates to ensure timely filings and appearances.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation related to personal injury cases.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
