LHH is looking for a Personal Injury Paralegal to supporting one attorney with all aspects of personal injury cases. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a passion for helping clients navigate the legal process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery responses.
- Conduct case intake and gather essential client and case details.
- Manage client communication to provide updates and obtain necessary information.
- Organize and review medical records, police reports, and insurance documentation.
- Coordinate depositions, medical examinations, and court appearances.
- Maintain case files and ensure all relevant information is up-to-date.
- Prepare settlement demands and assist in negotiating settlements with insurance adjusters.
- Support attorneys in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, subpoenas, and witness lists.
- Track deadlines for filings, hearings, and discovery responses.
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certificate or relevant experience in personal injury law.
- Strong understanding of the litigation process and legal terminology.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
