Contract Attorney

Location: Glendale, CA

Salary: $70 to $75 per hour

Type: Contract/Contract to Hire, Hybrid, Full-Time or Part-Time

LHH is working with a reputable law firm in seeking a highly skilled Contract Attorney to join their team in Glendale, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a strong focus on preparing and leading up to trial proceedings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis related to trial preparation.

  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents including motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, outside counsel, and clients to develop trial strategy and case management plans.

  • Manage and organize case documents, evidence, and exhibits in preparation for trial.

  • Conduct pre-trial investigations, gather evidence, and interview key witnesses.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or equivalent and active membership in the California State Bar.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Litigation Attorney roles.

  • Strong understanding of civil procedure, evidence rules, and trial advocacy techniques.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
