LHH is partnering with a well‑established and respected personal injury firm in Arizona on a search for an experienced Legal Assistant. This firm is seeking a sharp, self‑directed professional who can step in quickly, work with minimal supervision, and produce highly accurate work. This is a fully onsite position and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment. This could be direct hire or temp to hire.
The Legal Assistant will support a high‑volume personal injury practice (pre‑litigation) and must be comfortable handling frequent interaction with clients, medical providers, insurance representatives, and other involved parties. Success in this role requires top‑tier organization, strong communication skills, and consistent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a substantial volume of telephone and in‑person client communication
Gather, organize, and maintain medical, billing, and case documentation
Communicate directly with healthcare providers, insurance adjusters, and outside parties
Prepare, proofread, and finalize correspondence and case‑related documents
Assist with pre‑litigation case management, including records ordering and follow‑up
Maintain accurate and organized case files
Work independently with limited supervision while maintaining quality work product
Perform general administrative and case‑support tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of recent Personal Injury legal assistant experience (required)
Experience with Arizona state filings only (no federal experience needed)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred, but not required
Benefits & Employment Details
Option for temp‑to‑hire or direct hire, based on candidate preference and fit
Fully onsite schedule, Monday–Friday (no nights or weekends)
Pay $22-$28 an hour - depending on experience
Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
