Job Title: Leasing Agent
Location: East Palo Alto, CA
Pay: $26–$28 per hour

Contract through January 2026

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm

Overview:


We’re seeking a customer-focused Leasing Agent to support day-to-day leasing operations for a residential community in East Palo Alto. This is a temporary position through January 2026, offering a great opportunity to make an impact in a vital housing market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet prospective residents and provide tours of the property

  • Assist applicants with the leasing process and paperwork

  • Respond to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries

  • Conduct background checks and verify rental applications

  • Support renewals, move-ins, and move-outs

  • Maintain accurate resident records and leasing files

  • Collaborate with maintenance and property management teams

  • Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years prior experience with leasing, property management

  • Tax credit experience a plus

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

  • Comfortable using leasing software and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
