LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager – Implementation & Transformation for a growing industrial services organization. This direct hire role is based in St Louis, MO and requires 50–70% travel to field locations across the U.S. to support branch expansions and transformation initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a background in operations, project management, and organizational change—and thrive in fast-paced, hands-on environments.
As Project Manager, you’ll lead the execution of strategic projects, oversee facility expansion efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in service delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation & Transformation
Support service growth and operational transformation initiatives.
Define and refine operating models to improve efficiency and customer service delivery.
Coordinate training, communication, and change management efforts across teams.
Analyze performance data and track KPIs related to service quality, cost, and revenue.
Branch Expansion Project Management
Lead facility setup, contractor coordination, and operational readiness for new branches.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation for expansions and relocations.
Ensure compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership & Coaching
Mentor and collaborate with the Project Specialist to align transformation goals and project efforts.
Support performance tracking and coaching for frontline teams and managers.
Help eliminate execution roadblocks and ensure consistent project alignment.
Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with HR, IT, Legal, Field Leadership, Sales, and Service teams to maintain alignment.
Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Ensure cross-functional integration of all transformation efforts.
Process & Compliance Management
Help develop and enforce SOPs for branch operations.
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Contribute to customer satisfaction and service quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience managing projects in operations, transformation, or expansion.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/data analytics tools.
Strong communication and organizational skills; able to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification.
Experience with facility setup, construction coordination, or branch expansions.
Familiarity with service center operations, manufacturing, or off-highway equipment environments.
Background in process improvement, operational strategy, or business development.
Ideal Candidate Traits:
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
A proactive problem-solver and effective communicator.
Comfortable working in dynamic environments with travel and field responsibilities.
Adept at building relationships and driving results through collaboration.
Travel Requirements:
This position requires 50–70% travel within the U.S. for project coordination, site launches, and on-site team support.
Location: Hubbed in ST Louis, MO (with 50–70% domestic travel)
Schedule: Full-time | On-Site with regular travel
Compensation: $95,000 – $110,000 annually
