LHH is currently parenting with an organization in the Cumberland, MD area looking for someone to step into an Administrative Assistant role starting this May. This is a contract position running through August 2025 and will require 5 days onsite

Details:

  • Location: Cumberland, MD (onsite, Monday through Friday)

  • Pay: $18-$19 per hour

  • Contract Duration: May – August 2025

  • Type: Full-time, onsite, contract

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Welcoming visitors and clients with professionalism and warmth

  • Handling calls, taking messages, and making referrals when needed

  • Assisting with intake calls and walk-ins

  • Managing schedules, appointments, and office calendars

  • Helping with incoming/outgoing mail, document prep, and general office support (printing, scanning, formatting)

  • Keeping materials organized (forms, brochures, etc.)

  • Filing, organizing, and keeping office systems up to date

  • Pitching in where needed to help the team run smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone dependable, positive, and ready to jump in

  • High school diploma or GED, and some office experience

  • Solid communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to stay calm and helpful, even in busy or emotional situations

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems

  • Legal office experience is a plus—but not required
