LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Staff Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in Concord, CA. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have experience with accrual-based accounting and industry experience within a non-profit organization. The role will report to the Controller and be an integral part small team. The role will be responsible for full-charge bookkeeping maintaining the books for multiple entities, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred
  • Strong reconciliations experience
  • Prepare and record journal entries
  • Adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Analysis of general ledger accounts and preparation of reports and financial statements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups & formula experience required)
  • Software experience with a medium to large ERP software
  • Solid communications skills (written & verbal)
  • Team player, multi-tasker, and a want to learn and grow
  • Reliable, honest, and meets deadlines
  • Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized

Experience: 3 years accounting experience (Staff Accountant, Accountant, Full Charge Bookkeeper)
