Overview: LHH is partnering with a reputable law firm to identify an experienced Legal Administrative Support Manager for its Charlotte, NC office. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role overseeing approximately 100 Legal Assistants and Paralegals. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience managing large teams and a proven ability to drive operational excellence and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and monitor daily activities of Legal Assistants and Paralegals, ensuring productivity, quality, and adherence to firm standards
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture; mentor staff and deliver training programs to enhance skills and performance
  • Participate in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding processes for new Legal Assistants and Paralegals
  • Conduct 90-day and annual evaluations, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans as needed
  • Recommend and implement workflow improvements to enhance efficiency across practice groups
  • Ensure administrative tasks meet firm policies and legal requirements; maintain confidentiality and data security

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor???s degree required (Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred)
  • 5-7 years of personnel management experience in a professional environment; law firm experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage large teams
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time on-site and occasionally beyond standard hours

  • Compensation: $115,000-$160,000
