As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the financial integrity and day-to-day operations of our business. This position is vital in ensuring our vendor relationships remain strong through timely and accurate payment processing.

The Job Details

Responsibilities

• Prepares and processes payments accurately and on time for amounts owed by the company.
• Reviews and verifies all purchase orders, statements, and invoices needed to prepare payments.
• Reconciles bills and balances accounts.
• Identifies and resolves any discrepancies to an account.
• Tracks all payment and transaction records using applicable systems.
• May maintain vendor files.

• Reports To: Accounting Controller
• Travel: 5%
• Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
• Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hr (Hourly, Biweekly Paid)

Education

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational ability
• Effective corporate communication skills
• Problem-solving ability

• Good arithmetic, reading, and typing skills
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
• Ability to see, speak, and hear
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Occasional standing, walking, or lifting
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and company policies
• Self-starter who can work independently and with others
• Adherence to safety procedures
• Ability to manage stress and meet productivity guidelines
