Role Description:
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will represent the organization to customers by providing information, responding to inquiries, and troubleshooting product-related issues. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals beginning their career in finance or customer service. You will work under close supervision while learning company policies and processes to develop the foundational skills needed for success.
Role Snapshot:
You will handle collections of accounts receivable and past due balances, assist with billing disputes, and support chargeback claims resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect accounts receivable and manage past due accounts
Coordinate resolution of chargebacks, disputes, and billing issues
Maintain databases by entering, updating, and retrieving data
Assist with processing check, wire transfer, and credit card payments
Respond to customer and external collection inquiries
Communicate with Billing and Sales departments for dispute resolution
Prepare periodic account information and reports
Answer routine questions regarding department policies
Represent the organization to customers by providing information and troubleshooting assistance
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Less than one year of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Internship or exposure to finance, accounting, or customer service (not required but a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with basic accounting principles and Microsoft Office tools
Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
