HR Onboarding Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an temporary Onboarding Specialist for one of our clients in Brooklyn, NY. This consumer services company is looking for someone that can work on-site and assist with onboarding their seasonal summer employees. Candidates should have experience onboarding new hires and must have experience using Paylocity. This position will be anywhere from $30-34/hr, contingent on experience.

In this job you will:

• Ensure new hires have the specific licenses, certifications, and/or testing needed to start working

• Track employee data and make updates in their HRIS system

• Support new hire process and orientation as needed

• Coordinate drug testing and license/certification verification

• Schedule background checks

• Employment verification

To be considered for this client you should have:

• ***Must have experience using Paylocity***

• Previous support experience in a Human Resources Department or compliance team

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

• Professional verbal and written communication skills

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities

• Previous experience working in a professional environment
