We’re partnering with a leading client in Buckhead Atlanta to hire a detail‑oriented, reliable Accounting Clerk. This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in general accounting who thrives in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment. You’ll support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to essential reporting and reconciliation processes.


Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions

  • Maintain and update accounting files, ledgers, and supporting documentation

  • Perform high‑volume data entry while ensuring accuracy across all financial information

  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records

  • Assist with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions

  • Prepare basic financial reports and summaries as needed

  • Support month‑end and year‑end close activities

  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to research and resolve discrepancies

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards


Requirements

  • 2+ years of recent general accounting experience, including A/P and A/R

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Great Plains is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational abilities

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
