We’re partnering with a leading client in Buckhead Atlanta to hire a detail‑oriented, reliable Accounting Clerk. This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in general accounting who thrives in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment. You’ll support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to essential reporting and reconciliation processes.
Responsibilities
Accurately enter and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
Maintain and update accounting files, ledgers, and supporting documentation
Perform high‑volume data entry while ensuring accuracy across all financial information
Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
Assist with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions
Prepare basic financial reports and summaries as needed
Support month‑end and year‑end close activities
Partner with vendors and internal teams to research and resolve discrepancies
Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards
Requirements
2+ years of recent general accounting experience, including A/P and A/R
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Great Plains is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
