Job Title: Contract-to-Hire AP Supervisor
Location: Altamonte Springs, FL (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: $25 - $34 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor to join our team in Altamonte Springs, FL. This is a contract-to-hire position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term employment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounts payable department.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payment runs.
- Maintain and update vendor records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of accounts payable staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
