Are you a talented Corporate Commercial Solicitor looking to elevate your career within an award-winning team? Our client, one of the largest corporate law practises on the South Coast, is seeking to expand its Corporate team with a focus on transactional work. About the Role:
As a Corporate Commercial Solicitor, you will play a vital role in supporting the team with a variety of corporate matters, including shareholders agreements, share options, family investment companies, and family charters. Your primary focus will be on transactional work, representing serial acquirers-often private equity-backed-in their buy-and-build strategies, as well as participating in corporate disposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the corporate team with transactional work and non-transactional client matters.
- Manage your own caseload while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Engage in marketing and business development activities as directed by the Head of Department.
- Provide high-quality legal services to clients, offering expert advice on legal procedures and associated issues.
- draught contracts and other legal documents with precision.
- Uphold professional standards and comply with all procedures outlined in the Office Manual and SRA regulations.
- Stay current with changes in the law and record all chargeable hours accurately.

- Has prior corporate experience.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Is highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Possesses strong typing and data entry skills.
- Works well within a team and has a flexible, proactive approach.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Is willing to take ownership and accountability for their work.
