Location: Southampton (Hybrid Working)


About the Role:


Are you an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor ready to elevate your career? Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking a dedicated Associate to join their esteemed Commercial Property Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in a diverse range of commercial property work, collaborating with a team of approximately 90 fee earners and support staff across seven offices.


Key Responsibilities:


In this role, you will advise clients at every stage of the commercial property lifecycle, from initial plans to asset management and disposal. You will work across various sectors, including Real Estate Investment and Development, Social Housing, Retail and Leisure, Telecoms, Banking and Finance, and Green Energy. Your day-to-day tasks will include:


  • Managing a diverse caseload and engaging with clients to provide expert legal advice.
  • Developing your technical and client management skills through challenging and varied work.
  • Collaborating with senior associates and partners to enhance your expertise.
  • Participating in business development activities to nurture existing client relationships and establish new ones.
  • Ensuring compliance with information security and all firm policies.

Who We're Looking For:


To thrive in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience with a reputable property practise. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:


  • Strong intellect and a high level of academic achievement.
  • Initiative, drive, and excellent organisational skills.
  • A collaborative spirit and exceptional communication abilities.
  • A genuine eagerness to learn and grow within the commercial property sector.
