Location: Thames Valley Term Type: Permanent Salary: £80,000+ (Dependent on Experience) Department: Private Wealth


Our client, a leading law firm known for its commitment to exceptional client service and deep expertise across multiple practise areas, is seeking a dynamic Legal Director (or ambitious Senior Associate) to join their Private Wealth team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a thriving department that provides tailored legal strategies to mid-market clients.


About the Role:


As a Legal Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued success of the Private Wealth department. You will manage a mixed and varied caseload with a focus on high-quality client service. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of tax, trusts, and estate planning work for private clients, professional trustees, and corporate clients.


Key Responsibilities:


- Manage a caseload that includes matters related to:

  • Wills
  • Trusts
  • Probate
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)



    • Provide expert advice on:
    • - UK tax and estate planning


      - Trust administration


      - Probate and estate management


  • Ensure all client work is progressed efficiently, maintaining regular communication about progress, fees, and disbursements.


    • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to provide comprehensive support to clients on related matters, including residential property, employment, business affairs, and family law.

  • Actively promote the firm's services by participating in marketing events and business development activities, including authoring articles for newsletters and external publications as required.

Qualifications & Experience:



    • Admission to the Solicitors Roll.

  • A minimum of 8 years PQE (candidates with lower PQE will be considered).


    • Strong experience in handling private client matters is essential.

  • Experience leading a team is desirable but not essential.
