About the Role:
As part of our client's esteemed Commercial Property Team, recognised in the top tier of the Legal 500, you will report directly to the Commercial Property Partner and manage a variety of commercial property transactions. The team delivers comprehensive property services to clients across the Thames Valley, South East, and beyond, including both national and international clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold commercial properties.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related documentation.
- Handling property management tasks such as licences to assign, underlet, or alter properties.
- Assisting with secured lending and construction-related matters.
- Collaborating with the Corporate team to support integrated service delivery.
Candidate Requirements:
- 1-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in commercial property transactions, including lease drafting and negotiation.
- A proactive and independent working style, with the ability to demonstrate initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent organisational abilities, capable of managing a diverse caseload under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with attention to detail.
- A commitment to business development activities aimed at generating growth.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
