We're partnering with a leading Top 10 accountancy firm in Newcastle that's looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their dynamic and growing team.
This is a standout opportunity to work with a high-profile client portfolio across a range of sectors, lead audit engagements, and be part of a firm that prioritises professional development and progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise audit engagements, offering guidance and support to junior team members throughout the process.
- Act as the key point of contact between clients and managers during audits, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Prepare audit files in line with the firm's audit methodology, ready for managerial review.
- Take ownership of complex technical work, playing a hands-on role in delivering high-quality service to clients.
- Deliver exceptional client service with confidence, applying commercial awareness and initiative when addressing technical challenges.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) or working towards it.
- Proficient in audit, accounting, and tax software.
- Full, clean driver's license.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and teams.
