Job Description
Our client, a global investment manager, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join their Manchester office as a Fund/Client Accounting Analyst In this role, you will assist in delivering high-quality accounting services for assigned clients and funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting accounting services for assigned clients and funds, including:
- Driving Service Improvement Plans
- Targeting efficiencies and enhancing processes
- Performing specialist review functions
- Responsible for cash and asset reconciliations related to assigned funds.
- Perform reconciliation of account expenses and ensure appropriate allocation.
- Escalate complex transactions to senior team members for resolution.
- Prepare first-draft reports for clients regarding fund performance.
- Support client inquiries related to fund reports and accounting processes.
- Contribute to team objectives and assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- No direct reports; however, may have people management responsibilities in some geographies.
- This role contributes to the achievement of overall team objectives.
